Soundsory and Forbrain for Language Development

Tomatis Soundsory® is a Multi-Sensory, Home-Based Program and Tomatis Forbrain used in combination.

Soundsory® stimulates the brain to build foundational skills like Visual, Auditory, Tactile, Vestibular and Proprioception.

Based on the Tomatis Method, Soundsory is a 40 day program of daily 30 minutes of music listening with exercises. The program is divided in two sessions of 20 days each. You can repeat the full program whenever you want.

Additional to the Tomatis® Soundsory use the Tomatis® Forbrain to then work on speech and articulation.

Speech involves a complex sequence of articulated sounds organized in a specific rhythmic pattern. Clear and understandable speech requires the ability to consciously produce these sounds, continually adjusting based on how we hear ourselves, ensuring clarity in communication. This cognitive process is referred to as phonological awareness.

Individuals with speech sound disorders often exhibit low phonological awareness, resulting in delays in both understanding spoken words and expressing themselves. This difficulty can manifest in substituting one sound for another, adding extra sounds, or omitting sounds altogether. For those affected by these disorders, the inability to communicate freely can lead to feelings of isolation and frustration.

Forbrain utilizes a patented dynamic filter and bone conduction to engage the natural auditory feedback loop. This direct stimulation of the auditory nerve enables users to hear their own voice more clearly, thereby enhancing phonological awareness. This improvement facilitates easier processing of speech, better retention of information, and clearer responses.
